NBA Match Predictor
I scraped 6,000+ NBA games across five seasons, engineered 200+ features for each team's form going into the game, and trained XGBoost to predict who wins.
One finding: the schedule alone swings the home win rate by 15 points, from 46% on a back-to-back against a rested opponent to 61% when the visitors are the tired ones.
